Lothlorian was fun to visualize. Players are tasked with defending a magical gateway into the elven sanctuary from an orc invasion.

Urugost is a dragon that lives in dwarven ruins. These are the views that you see on the way to his lair.

This is the iron fortress of Carndum. It was a lot of fun to work on as it provided an opportunity to do a horror take on The Lord of The Rings universe.

This is Agandaur's palace. Here he call upon the power of the lightning to make himself grow larger and stronger.

Mt. Gundabad is an old dwarven fortress turned orc captial. You can see concepts for its interiors in my portfolio section.

My wife loves this image. This was one of my first concepts at WB, done sometime in 2009. This is the way I picture Radagast Tree in Mirkwood after his abduction: magical, but with a hint of melancholy. The next image shows the interior of the house.

Here are some of the breakdown drawings that I did for War In The North:

The Lord of The Rings: War In The North is finally out!

This means that I finally get to show you what I've been working on for the past three years. I've updated my site and portfolio sections and will be posting more images here in the coming days.

In the meanwhile, I recommend that you give the game a try. It's a good old mindless hack and slash with awesome loot and is especially fun to play with friends. Hope you enjoy it!

I moved to Washington DC!

Goodbye rain, hello Smithsonian. In case you're wondering why the move - I joined the crew at Bethesda Softworks as their latest concept artist. What I'm working on is awesome, but I can say no more. If you live in the area and do art-related things, drop me a line.

Needed to take a break from hyper-detailed fantasy landscapes from work. :) So here's a cartoony sci fi character I've been playing around with. The idea was to design something that could be realized in a game. Her costume is a slick futuristic space-suit with potential for additional armor to be worn on top.

I painted this concept in the early stages of Donkey Kong Country Returns development in 2007. It was used to prototype the look of the levels in the game.

I made a lot of marker, pen and Photoshop sketches to help establish the look of Metroid Prime games. Here's a couple that were done around 2004 for Metroid Prime 3:
